Walnut plaques are presented to all Division Winners each summer. Winners are decided based on their records against all other teams in their division of their age group.  This year there will be 17 Division Winner plaques  awarded.

In recognition of the effort it takes to run an outstanding junior tennis program, the NJJTA awards Exemplary Club certificates to those clubs which have set a high standard of participation, cooperation and sportsmanship. These awards were begun six years ago, and some clubs have qualified every year.

Realizing that some club professionals give outstanding effort but their clubs might fall short of the requirements for Exemplary Club status, the Exemplary Pro award was created two years ago to acknowledge their efforts.

The John P. Flynn Memorial Award is engraved with the names of the winners of the Boys and Girls 18 and Under Singles Tournaments each year.  Begun in 1989, the awards are in memory of J. P. Flynn - an "outstanding player, coach and friend to the NJJTA" - and were established by his family following his untimely death.

The NJJTA has presented The Nancy T. Brower (girls) and Thomas E. Johnson (boys) Sportsmanship Awards since 1994.  Taz and Tom served the organization as directors for many years, exemplifying fair play and sportemanship. Juniors were nominated for the award by their own or another club's pro based on their behavior during the current league season.  The perpetual plaques were retired following the 2004 season.
